hohoho :D im gonna blog about Spiritual Hunger (:
(adapted from cell group sermon!)

2 Cor 5:7 For we walk by faith and not by sight.
Luke 24: 13-15, 24:28-31 the verses show two men travelling when they met Jesus. they did nt recognised Jesus because "their eyes were restrained" [v.16]. however, they invited Jesus to stay at their house as it was towards evening. in v.28-31, it shows how the two men eyes were opened and realised that it was Jesus who was walking together with them.
what does that mean?
Fresh revelation means WALKING WITH GOD EVERYDAY! (:

Matthew 5:2-3, v.6
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled! :D

10 points you experience during prolonged starvation (physical and spiritual) :
1. loss of body weight
in greek, weight = glory. You lose the glory!
2. protein in the muscles begin to break down
we'll lose our passion and fire to serve God.
3. skin becomes thin
thin-skinned means, we're VULNERABLE to attacks!
4. lose the desire to reproduce
we lose the desire for fruitfulness!
5. anemia begins to set in, feel giddy
we fall into temptation easily.
6. body temperature drops.
we lose the ability to sense God as it is too cold.
7. immune system breaks down
we will not be able to resist the lifestyles of the world.
8. brain starts to break down
we no longer think like the heavenly mind, our carnal mind takes over.
9. blood pressure drops, heart will not function
we lose the love of God and the love for people
10. death
spiritual death ):

5 things that happens during prolong dehydration and thirst(spiritual and physical) :
1. lose salt
we lose our flavouring anf no longer be able to be the salt of the earth.
2. develops a fever
we're HOT and passionate for the wrong reasons, and desire the wrong motives.
3. dizzy and weak
spiritually dry, losing our cutting edge.
4. unable to shed tears when you cry
your spirit man becomes dry and unable to feel God's presence.
5. kidney fails, cannot clean your body.
unable to keep santification and our holiness.

lets not lose our spiritual hunger and thirst! :D
continue to have spiritual discipline you guys and lets rise up to an even greater level like never before! (: JIAYOU! yay
