hellos!:D
yesterday's service was real good yeah? haha. :D
nick is such a powerful man, even though he was handicapped,
his innerself isn't!
in fact, he's more than a normal person!
he really walk a close life with God, he depended on God, to
guide him, to give him the strength. (:
we've learnt about the power of embracing the circumstances by the perspective of God.
you know, many of us may have problems that have yet been dealt.
but we've got to have a positive attitude towards our problems.
God doesn't only want to change our circumstances, he wants to change our hearts.
we have gotta lean on God, ask him, seek him, for he is our true and living God.
we have gotta have a thanks giving heart although the situation might be bad.
we'll still give him praise even though we might be going through trials&tribulations.
we've got to seek God first!
there is no joy in our circumstances, but there is joy in the purpose of our circumstances!
&God is faithful, he never fails us as he alr has a good plan for us.
God is always there, giving us strength, giving us comfort when we're feeling down.
showing us a way, when in need.
he's always the light at the end of our tunnel.
we'll be able to find rest & peace in him!
and His perfect strength is displayed through weakness.
even though we may be lacking of this or that,
but God will use it for his glory.
do not be held back by fear and guilt.
sometimes, we might be afraid of something, but do not fear,
cause God is with you,
guiding you, showing you the path he has given you.
:D
you know many of us here might be going through problems, but, have faith,
that God will help you to turn the situation around. (: put your trust in him.
sometimes, the problem might not be solved, but do not worry
for we've got the victory in Jesus Christ!
in whatever situation we may be, we will still give thanks to God!
thankyou lord!

Opportunities and altar building
i think i am very blessed by the show "Evan Almighty" too..
i was watching with them the 2nd time...
and it touches me just as deep...

when you ask God for patience...
will the Lord not give you OPPORTUNITY to become patient?
when you ask God for faith...
will the Lord not set before you an OPPORTUNITY to set out in faith...
and stretch your faith?
when you ask for family to be more united...
will the Lord not create an OPPORTUNITY for you all to stand by each other?

what are you praying for today?

and will you...
carry the call of your life...
the vision that God set before you...
and leave ALL that you have...
STEP OUT of your comfort zone...
will you?

in the show the wife said this:
if God had called you to build and ark...
does God knows that He is causing you to lose your job...?
does God knows that He is affecting our relationship...?

many times...
many times...
when we do not understand what God is doing...
why we are going through what we are going through...
why did God allows things to happen the way it happened...
we think that God doesn't care...
but you know what...
i like Evan's answer...
"No matter what You do, i know You do it because You love me"

God is faithful even when we are not faithful...
God has never leave us nor forsake us...
despite of the times we forgot about Him...
busy with our own things...
our own lives...
God did not move...
we need to be very secure that no matter what...
everything work together for good to those who loves the Lord and are called according to His purpose...

He will take care of you more than you can EVER take care of yourself...
so don't hold back...
give your life to Jesus...

i was studying the book of Genesis...
and since Noah's time...
everytime the people are called from one place to another...
from one level to another...
the first thing they do..
is to build an altar before the Lord...
and that will be the place where they will meet the Lord...
and in them, there will be a longing to go back constantly to meet with Him...
have your built your altar?

many times we keep looking back at the times where we encounter the Lord...
how you long to go back to those "good old days"...
the fact is not that the presence of God is not at where you are now...
neither has God love you less...
nor the person leading is less anointed...

the reason is because...
have you built an altar before the Lord...
at your current point of life...
or have you left your altar somewhere...
with someone...
if you have left it somewhere or with someone...
then let me challenge you today...
to build your altar...
at where you are now...
unto the Lord...
and it will be a place where the Lord will meet with you constantly...

just now we saw the building of an ark...
if you say you will seize that opportunity...
carry that call of your life...
run that vision of God...

then you got to FIRST build an altar...
and lay everything on that altar...
and forever, and ever...
walk with God this narrow way...

EVAN ALMIGHTY ROCKS
At first when i heard joyce meyer"s word she said SEZIE THE OPPORTUNITY

Then i was wondering what it meant until when i watched Evan Almighty,it was the part when "God" told evan`s wife this

when you pray to God for money, does He just gives it to you immediatly?no..he gives you the OPPORTUNITY to earn money

when you pray to God for relationships to be reunited, does he give it to you immediately?no..he gives you the opportunity to reunite.

so thats why we must seize the opportunity given to us.

and there was another part, when the news reporters asked Evan,if he was sure "GOD" chose him,but he did not say "GOD"chose him,but indeed he chose all of us,it was Evan`s dream to change the world and a prayer that made what people think of building an ark, raining during a drought and talking to God seem impossible, possible. In the end he was able to change the world,so indeed God can use 1 to change the world its wether we want to or not and give up everything just for the vision for the LORD,are we willing, for the treasures on Earth is limited but the treasures in heaven is more then what we can expect when we do everything for the glory of God.

Inspired!
Wow...
i am inspired by the story..
sometimes when our dreams seems to be dead...
it seems out of sight and impossible...
keep on keeping on...
cuz God has a greater plan for u...

"You do what you can do,
Let God do what He can do.
But don't you try to do what only God can do,
And don't you expect God to do what you're suppose to do!"

so just be faithful with what we can do and trust God for what He can do..
=)

Once upon a mountain top, three little trees stood and dreamed of what they wanted to become when they grew up.

The first little tree looked up at the stars and said: "I want to hold treasure. I want to be covered with gold and filled with precious stones. I'll be the most beautiful treasure chest in the world!"

The second little tree looked out at the small stream trickling by on it's way to the ocean. "I want to be traveling mighty waters and carrying powerful kings. I'll be the strongest ship in the world!"

The third little tree looked down into the valley below where busy men and women worked in a busy town. "I don't want to leave the mountain top at all. I want to grow so tall that when people stop to look at me, they'll raise their eyes to heaven and think of God. I will be the tallest tree in the world."

Years passed. The rain came, the sun shone, and the little trees grew tall.

One day three woodcutters climbed the mountain. The first woodcutter looked at the first tree and said, "This tree is beautiful. It is perfect for me." With a swoop of his shining axe, the first tree fell. "Now I shall be made into a beautiful chest, I shall hold wonderful treasure!" The first tree said.

The second woodcutter looked at the second tree and said, "This tree is strong. It is perfect for me." With a swoop of his shining axe, the second tree fell. "Now I shall sail mighty waters!" thought the second tree. "I shall be a strong ship for mighty kings!"

The third tree felt her heart sink when the last woodcutter looked her way. She stood straight and tall and pointed bravely to heaven. But the woodcutter never even looked up. "Any kind of tree will do for me," he muttered. With a swoop of his shining axe, the third tree fell.

The first tree rejoiced when the woodcutter brought her to a carpenter's shop. But the carpenter fashioned the tree into a feedbox for animals. The once beautiful tree was not covered with gold, nor with treasure. She was coated with sawdust and filled with hay for hungry farm animals.

The second tree smiled when the woodcutter took her to a shipyard, but no mighty sailing ship was made that day. Instead the once strong tree was hammered and sawed into a simple fishing boat. She was too small and too weak to sail to an ocean, or even a river; instead she was taken to a little lake.

The third tree was confused when the woodcutter cut her into strong beams and left her in a lumberyard. "What happened?" The once tall tree wondered. "All I ever wanted was to stay on the mountain top and point to God."

Many many days and night passed. The three trees nearly forgot their dreams. But one night, golden starlight poured over the first tree as a young woman placed her newborn baby in the feedbox. "I wish I could make a cradle for him," her husband whispered. The mother squeezed his hand and smiled as the starlight shone on the smooth and the sturdy wood." This manger is beautiful," she said. And suddenly the first tree knew he was holding the greatest treasure in the world.

One evening a tired traveler and his friends crowded into the old fishing boat. The traveler fell asleep as the second tree quietly sailed out into the lake. Soon a thundering and thrashing storm arose. The little tree shuddered. She knew she did not have the strength to carry so many passengers safely through with the wind and the rain. The tired man awakened. He stood up, stretched out his hand, and said, "Peace." The storm stopped as quickly as it had begun. Suddenly the second tree knew he was carrying the king of heaven and earth.

One Friday morning, the third tree was startled when her beams were yanked from the forgotten woodpile. She flinched as she was carried through an angry jeering crowd. She shuddered when soldiers nailed a man's hands to her. She felt ugly and harsh and cruel. But on Sunday morning, when the sun rose and the earth tremble with joy beneath her, the third tree knew that God's love had changed everything. It had made the third tree strong. And every time people thought of the third tree, they would think of God. That was better than being the tallest tree in the world.

So next time you feel down because you didn't get what you want, just sit tight and be happy because God is thinking of something better to give you. (:

i hope you guys have been inspired (:
