VALUES! (Penny for a thought)
haven't been blogging here for quite awhile..
but hope this will bless you all...
=)

the surrounding will change...
circumstances will change...
a person's character will change through time...
according to the times and seasons...
we often hear about "Change is the only constant in life"...
but yet there are somethings that will not change...
VALUES...
where you are positioned...

everything you do...
how you react to a situation, circumstances or problems...
is very very closely related to what are your values...
what are the things you cherish...

and these values WILL determine how you view a situation...
and bring about a reaction that might change the situation...

in life...
we always talk about priorities etc...
our priorities ARE SET by the different VALUES we place on the different things in life...

are you will to pay the price for the word of God...
if today...
you are to be put behind bars if you admit you are a christian...
or holds a bible...
what are your values? your stand?
bring it closer to life...
take for example the business breakthrough dinner with Dr. Rev. A.R Bernald...
you may not have ABUNDANCE at that moment...
but will you say that you are willing to even go without food..
eat home more for that few weeks...
just so that you can attend the session and recieve an impartation...

if today...
all you have is a few $10 dollars for the next whole month and God ask you to sow them all into the building fund...
will you choose to obey the voice of God...
or to look at the circumstances...
let's bring it closer to life...
building fund is coming...
if all you have after paying all your monthly bills etc...
is let's say $200-$300...
and maybe God speak to you...
to give $200...
which means you will not have much to spend..
eat home more...
no more cabs...
late night movies...
no more supper...
no more chilling out...
no more shopping...
will you put your trust in Him...
our God of MORE THAN ENOUGH?
or talk yourself out of it..
saying that it cannot be God...
let me tell you...
i SERIOUSLY don't think the devil will tell you to give more to build God a house...
and it is only the devil that will talk you out of giving...

if today...
you know that Jesus is coming back tomorrow...
what will you be busy doing?
praying for yourself to go heaven..?
reading the bible as much as you can and try to be spiritual..?
repenting of all your much accumulated rebellious sin hoping God will overlook them..?
let's bring it closer to life...
we are ALREADY now living in borrowed time...
Jesus is delaying His coming back...
and what we are you doing everyday..?
busy with every other things exceept the reason why He is delaying His coming back..?
or will you be urgent in spreading the love of Christ...?
touching lives...?
will you just be overly concern with the 99 you have...?
or will you be like Jesus, to seek for the 1 which was lost..?

take tme to think through...
reflect on what you would be doing...
because your actions are determined by your VALUES...
So what are the VALUES you have in your life...?

maybe you are can take some time...
reflect through and share with one another waht are some values in your life...
so that yo all can help each other to grow too..
love all of you...

hello people! :D
this is the last week of school! yeah.
so happy~ finally we've got to relax.
but i still have cca D: ohwells.
tomorrow cg @ kezia's house.
oh and this week is francis & jacus birthday!
dont forget to wish them yeah! :]
haha.
hmm, maybe we should serve more at jams church.
cause their love for God is really undescribable.
it's so pure, so simple , yet so meaningful.
you can really feel the fire in them,
the presence of God. :D
they're really nice and friendly too!

hello PEOPLE! hahahh .. since its after exams i feel that we should take this opportunity to

serve GOD more ESPECIALLY in our ministry:)) i really regret for not paying attention in

SERVING GOD in church .. everytime when my usher ldr CALLS me i always have this

reluctant spirit inside of me .. i would always find excuses to EXCUSE myself from usher .. but

GOD spoke to me and that if i CONTINUED doing what im doing .. my relationship WITH HIM

would be bad:( now i HAVE decided NOT to risk it cos i LOVE HIM alot.. i will already lose my

FAVOURITE ldr soon after moving back to jurong and i FELT that i really regret how i treat

her.. she is ALREADY doing whats best for me and i TOOK advantage of it .. now theres already

no turning back .. so i really hope that YOU people will take ministrys seriously COS we're NOT

serving for OURSELVES nor for the CHURCH .. but for CHIRST!:) jeyun:))

heyheyyouyou!!
exams are finally over!!
yayayayay!!:))
the long awaited day has finally arrived:))
although going through exams are tough but they are part and parcel of life:))
afterall, GOD did help me lots:))
no matter what the results will be - good or bad
i will always remember what GOD said:))
GOD spoke to me when i went through my exams last week
there were many persecutions from the devil but still i want to have the spirit of Job:
Even if GOD kills me, i will trust in him:))
it doesnt matter what ur results r because he has long planned our destiny:))
Many times, this weak heart of mine failed HIM and tried to control my own life
but HE has never failed me and will always be there when i fall
so HE will never fail u too:))
lets continue to strive on and learn from our mistakes made in EOYs so that we will continue to bring Glory to GOD!!

2 Cor 5:7 For we walk by faith and not by sight.
Luke 24: 13-15, 24:28-31 the verses show two men travelling when they met Jesus. they did nt recognised Jesus because "their eyes were restrained" [v.16]. however, they invited Jesus to stay at their house as it was towards evening. in v.28-31, it shows how the two men eyes were opened and realised that it was Jesus who was walking together with them.
what does that mean?
Fresh revelation means WALKING WITH GOD EVERYDAY! (:

Matthew 5:2-3, v.6
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled! :D

10 points you experience during prolonged starvation (physical and spiritual) :
1. loss of body weight
in greek, weight = glory. You lose the glory!
2. protein in the muscles begin to break down
we'll lose our passion and fire to serve God.
3. skin becomes thin
thin-skinned means, we're VULNERABLE to attacks!
4. lose the desire to reproduce
we lose the desire for fruitfulness!
5. anemia begins to set in, feel giddy
we fall into temptation easily.
6. body temperature drops.
we lose the ability to sense God as it is too cold.
7. immune system breaks down
we will not be able to resist the lifestyles of the world.
8. brain starts to break down
we no longer think like the heavenly mind, our carnal mind takes over.
9. blood pressure drops, heart will not function
we lose the love of God and the love for people
10. death
spiritual death ):

5 things that happens during prolong dehydration and thirst(spiritual and physical) :
1. lose salt
we lose our flavouring anf no longer be able to be the salt of the earth.
2. develops a fever
we're HOT and passionate for the wrong reasons, and desire the wrong motives.
3. dizzy and weak
spiritually dry, losing our cutting edge.
4. unable to shed tears when you cry
your spirit man becomes dry and unable to feel God's presence.
5. kidney fails, cannot clean your body.
unable to keep santification and our holiness.

lets not lose our spiritual hunger and thirst! :D

ahhahahha hello !:)) today i had my chem and chinese papers .. after chem its was like a HUGE

burden off my shoulders hahahha thank GOD for giving me all the answers .. tml its the LAST

paper .. wah finally after long sufferings on mugging hahhaha . GOD really helped me alot ..

actually for chem it was quite stressful for me after coming to school and seeing the whole sec 3

studying hhahah i almost fainted .. so i also quickly absorbed in some last minute information

haaha good thing i did that ! tml i can like relax already .. something i reallly really miss before

that one week of exams .. THANK YOU GOD for helping me and w341 going through exams

period, hhahah exam period is always the period i see my cgmembers studying super hard

hahhah ( dun deny lar) .. finally exams cAme to an end so no more studying for me for this year

AHHH! Halloween is comming and we had Fun
Today went out with Francis,Mag,Rachel!,for fellowship
so funn!And discovered Mag"s dislike for Porridge,and discovered so many other things...hahahahah....(i know secrets)played with e halloween costumes at toy"s"r"us,
and played "dress up" with masks
so cool but dun have e pictures now...o no..
but it looks cool..then acted with Francis,ask mag then she dun wan(my acting is good,not! awesome)went to eat yami yogurt..fellowship,talks...from Rachel,then went home...tired ppl gone home... -wesley

the hawkers are gonna get to excited and happy and everything! haha.
and, we're going to have a party next friday.
it's to welcome the new friends from children's church. :D
yay!
it's going to be at kezia's house as usual yeah. :D
maybe we can also try to bring our friends too?
